Kyle Burke has been making music since he was 4 years old, starting with piano. He feels very lucky to have had a private piano instructor that lived down the street from his childhood home. By the time he was a pre-teen, he spent weekend mornings playing fiddle tunes in local farmer’s markets. Orchestra was an important part of his musical development from elementary school to college. After graduating and discovering the autoharp, he returned to the musical genre of his childhood: old-time fiddle tunes. The autoharp helped re-invigorate this passion, and he is very excited to share the joy that this music brings him.

Kyle is the reigning 2026 Mountain Laurel contest champion and he also won at Winfield in 2025.
